Business Development Manager Brazil

Our client is a leading IT Service Management software company headquartered in United Kingdom with offices across Europe, North America & Asia Pacific and has strategic partnerships worldwide. Core business is focussed on developing, implementing and supporting sophisticated, high-value, business software solution.

The company is specialized in delivering Help Desk and IT Service Management solutions to large blue-chip organizations and to the public sector. The company is dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction and works with customers to ensure IT Service Management success. They provide a wide range of consulting, project management and training services to help maximize investment.

The job, your challenge

The company has a strong presence in the most important markets. However, there are a number of markets that our client wants to develop. For this we are looking for a Business Development Manager Brazil, based in Sao Paolo.
Tasks and activities comprise of researching and opening of new markets, finding and managing resellers and partners, direct sales and contributing to the new market strategy. The Business Development Manager is a cornerstone in the international growth strategy
He/she will work closely with the International Marketing Director and the International Sales Director. The candidate must be able to work in a start-up environment with plenty of ambiguity. The right person should be entrepreneurial by nature and be able to make appropriate decisions.

The profile, your background

The right person has at least five years proven experience in a commercial role. Strong proven experience in Partner Management, with the emphasis of setting up new partner relations. A good understanding of software solutions and the capability to demonstrate these.
Proven capability of communicating and working within a process-driven and positive environment. Knowledge of reseller dynamics and how to leverage dealer/distributor channels. Experience in business planning and account management. Good literary ICT skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills. You must communicate confidently at all levels with a high standard of English (grammar & spelling). Knowledge and working understanding of (ITIL) Service Management.
