De functie, uw uitdaging
Our client is hiring a Sales Manager to lead its sales team. The Sales Director Europe is a cornerstone in the international growth strategy and is a member of the management team. You have the opportunity to lead an energetic and dedicated group of sales professionals in a fast growing consultancy working with leading edge Integration and Business Process technologies. At the heart of the company there is a team of highly motivated, passionate professionals who are driven by technology and what they can achieve with it. They challenge their peers on a regular basis and are given the freedom to be themselves.
The sales manager leads and manages the sales team with a focus in growing yearly sales per annum for the next three years. He/she must be able to lead and strongly coach the sales team. This person is required to spend approximately 50% of their time in the field helping their regional managers to grow their business, seeing partners and interacting with customers. The focus on the job will be increasing sales, maintaining and improving distributor relationships, tactical relationship development and overall business development.
This person will work closely with the International Marketing Director to build revenue. The European regional management team needs an experienced international sales manager who can help the Europe sales team grow their business. This person must be able to work in a start-up environment with plenty of ambiguity. The right person should be entrepreneurial by nature and be able to make appropriate decisions.
Het profiel, uw achtergrond
The right person has at least five years proven experience in a commercial role. Strong proven experience in Partner Management, with the emphasis of setting up new partner relations. A good understanding of software solutions and the capability to demonstrate these. Proven capability of communicating and working within a process-driven and positive environment. Knowledge of reseller dynamics and how to leverage dealer/distributor channels. Experience in business planning and account management.
Good literary ICT skills and ability to work to tight deadlines. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills. You must communicate confidently at all levels with a high standard of English (grammar & spelling).
