NextiraOne: Flemish water supply company VMW chooses NextiraOne as its new communications partner
Brussels, Sep 03, 2010 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Flemish water supply company VMW, which supplies water to around 2.6 million people in Flanders, has signed a company-wide deal with NextiraOne, EuropeaEUR(TM)s leading communications experts. This is a three-year contract with possible extensions of up to a further six years. NextiraOne will supply VMW with technology and services for its contact centre, data network, IP telephony system and services.

'Boredom' blamed for falling IT GCSE student levels
Results of GCSEs published today have shown that the number of studentstaking ICT has fallen by a further 17 per cent. Last year 73,519 students took a GCSE in ICT and this year the figure fell to61,022. Symantec has echoedtheRoyal Society's concerns about the standard of ICT education in schools, andsaid the current syllabus "too boring". "Students today have grown up surrounded by computers.
